New Map - Spin-off of Summoner's Rift
Picture Summoner's Rift. Now take Baron and put him exactly in the middle on the map. That's right. Right down mid lane. Make Baron accessible from both sides - entries directly pointing to each nexus. Now create a revolving mid lane. One that minions travel around Baron one side and continue as normal. The minions from the other team go on the other side of this circle around Baron. Baron would need to be buffed heavily though. The reason behind putting Baron in mid lane would be to add a "luck factor" to the game. Think about it. If Baron was insanely strong, and he was attempted by a team, the other team would run in there at the last second and steal the Baron buff and kill all the originally attempting champions. Its that easy. So why attempt Baron then? The answer is simple. Comebacks. What a better way than to turn the tide of a match then with a Baron buff!? There is no other option now (for the losing team) because only the losing team would even attempt Baron, (unless in the case of an ace) just to get back in the game! Now this may sound crazy to many of you. I know. But bear with me there is more coming. :D
Moreover, this would make mid lane your basic farm lane. As you would wait for your minions to go around, so would the other champ in mid lane. So simple farming is what mid lane would be. The frequency at which the minions would go around would have to meet by the entry to Baron on both sides, where they would meet the next wave of minions.
Furthermore, dragon would be moved to the bot lane area. Not where it is now. Further down. What I mean by this is that in the SE most part of the map, take away the brush there, and put in an entrance to dragon. Now do the exact same thing to top lane in the NW corner. 2 dragons. Told you it would get crazier. :D
I would assume that many of the LoL community will be opposed to this idea as it is new and probably needs some testing. I will say that it should be something for Riot to think about.
