An idea for the creation of new maps for us casual gamers.

There are many of us who will never play tournaments and rarely play ranked games. We jump in for the quick fun of LoL and then go do something else. Many of us have been asking for new maps to cater to our A.D.D. tastes. Now by new maps I don't just mean the added game modes. We want a few new maps for 5v5 and 3v3 that offer different jungles, different lane designs and thus different strategies. My thought was this; What if you gave us the option for a $1 per month subscription? I for one would easily sign up for this and allow Riot the option of hiring additional staff to focus on added maps for us casuals. I would go out on a limb and say that there are MANY of us who would sign up to allow for the addition of new content like this. I very much doubt this would detract from the tournaments because they are a completely different monster. Anybody think this would work? Feel free to chime in and even add your own ideas.

The issue isn't the staff, creating a new map isn't THAT expensive (it takes time but it's not that bad). The main issue is maintaining queues. One of the best parts of LoL is the matchmaking and MMR system that allows you to be put against players of similar skill to yourself (you know how everyone seems bad in the games you play? that's because you're just as bad!). If you maintain too many different queues, you end up with uneven games where Bronze-level players get matched up against Diamond-level players.

One way to get around this, I guess, is to just have a single queue where a random map is selected (i.e. like many other RTS games e.g. SC2). As it is, however, I feel like there's not much advantage to having different maps. People will enjoy them, sure, but they'll quickly get bored and realise it's the same. It's the champions and mind games that make LoL interesting and fun, not the map itself.

Good idea I like it but sometimes it is a pain to go through all the pains of paying money online (Like giving riot your credit card number) just for 1$.

I would pay if say, you get a free skin or champ for every 3-6 months that you keep your subscription on. Regardless, LoL could benefit majorly from a new 5v5 map or at least a new game mode.
