Team Builder Bot Mode

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, didn't know where to put it. Also if this has already been posted and I completely missed it, I am terribly sorry. I am still learning most Champions and different lane strategy. Obviously, the best place to do this seems in a bot game. However, every game I am either starting a fight during the draft or having to succumb to another for their, in particular, desire to play mid, or their desire to play a Champion I am attempting to learn. The most logical and simple solution to this issue would be Team Builder mode for Bot games. I could very easily join a normal PvP and hope I can get away with "sry, first time ...", but the builder bot game seems to be much more sensible. Honestly, I think it would go a really long way for noobs, for people who want to have a lane without fighting for it, and make the gameplay experience better in the long run, rather than being flamed royally within the first few months of playing trying to learn different aspects and champions.

Seems a little pointless to me honestly. Not completely pointless though.

Unfortunately it can be frustrating when someone grabs the champion you are wanting to try first, especially on a free week, or just after a rework or champion release. Maybe try twisted treeline to cut down on the chances of that?

As far as lanes go, well its pretty simple really. Don't worry about it. You really can't get good lane (role) practice in bot games, just mechanical practice. Of course the exception to that is jungler (IMO the hardest role to learn). But since (well, since bots) you don't have to worry about an enemy jungler so if 2 people want to jungle, no problem, just split it in 2. So really the only role issue you could possibly have in co-op vs ai is 3+ people wanting to jungle. I have literally in I don't even know how many games, never seen that (like 700+co-op vs ai games for me now). I've seen 2 junglers coexist just fine though.

Also, you think waiting on a support in normal team builders takes a while, good luck with that in co-op vs ai >.>

An alternative that exists now is to make a one-man Custom match. You get to rapid-fire any build on any champ in any lane without wishing grisly death on your teammates.

However, their AI isn't quite the same as Co-Op (slightly tinkered with to allow for any bot to go to any lane, probably) and I can't ever seem to remember the pattern AI bots use to take lanes after you pick. That can be handled with simply making the enemy team all midlaner though. One of them will go mid!

You also won't get IP or XP, but since you seem to be doing this to better yourself that probably won't be an issue.
