Ranked Team Builder for Ranked

Dear Riot/Riot community, I just thought of an idea that has to do with ranked solo/duo games. I was wondering just for ranked solo/duo que, it would be good to make it or add it so you can que of just for the role/position not the champion for ranked solo/duo que. Not like how you would normaly que with both the champion you would like to play and the role/position. Then after the team builder lobby is full it would take you to the traditional champion select where you can still pick & choose and of course ban and counter pick champions. This way you can still que up for the role that you play best at instead of butting heads in champion select lobby where everyone tends to argue which role they want to play, thus removing early toxic attitudes for not getting or playing their role. I think this would definitely bring more people to play ranked games. Like I said this is just an idea. Thoughts?

This violates the premise behind ranked. Ranked is not about always getting your role. Ranked is about doing your best even if you are not in your preferred role.

This is why current team builder was not applied to ranked.

Then that would mean that having a full regular preset 5v5 team that you play on would violate that too. I just want to enjoy solo/duo que the same way I enjoy a preset team. This is a game, and playing what you find fun, enjoyable and what you're good at is what this "game" should be about. Some people just aren't good on doing certain roles and they shouldn't be forced to do so. That's like telling a burger flipper at Mc Donalds to go do open heart surgery. People forget that this is a "game" and they take this too seriously sometimes. The reason people make it to high ranks is because they are able to play the roles they are good with. Hence that's why there are players that get recruited to actual professional sponsored teams for certain roles. Try telling the best solo Top player or the best solo mid player to go play jungle or support when they are in a tournament and just "do their best." Maybe it wasn't applied to ranked because they are still testing on normal team builder games first.

Ranked is not about getting your role. I just covered that.

If you are here to relax do not play ranked. That is the opposite reason of why ranked exists.

The pros play other lanes than their mains in ranked ladder play. Your example does not make sense. In tourney play they are doing the equivalent of ranked 5s team play. WEll guess what go make a ranked 5s team if you want your role no matter what.

Do you remember that riot recently said this is a game of mastery? Its not the mastery of one lane but the mastery of the whole that is gagged in solo/duo Q.
