Hey guys I am just wondering why my friends and I got Bronze V in ranked teams when our scores were really good and we won 3 out of 5 games. What are you thoughts on this? Please answer! Thanks

Deep Terror Nami2 votesWhen a team is first made, the past performances of the members in ranked solo queue will impact the starting MMR of the team. Once the team is established, the team's MMR exists independently from each of the member’s solo queue MMR.
Deep Terror Nami3 votesIt averages the MMR of your whole group. If you're all really low MMR, you won't get very high placement. If you're looking for an easier promotion to get gold for the skins or icon, you can do 3s instead because the MMR is separate from your 5s MMR and you'll start with a fresh baseline MMR.
Minarde1 votesDo ranked 3s actually use your normals 3s MMR? Given Riot's typical methods, I figured it'd use solo ranked SR MMR to seed both 3s and 5s team MMRs.

RyzeRework1 votesi dont think i really counts as ur team mmr because ive done ranked 5's with 3 golds a plat and a diamond player and we got bronze too
SKOBODO1 votesI think it's based on previous Seasons. Also, if you have more than 3 players in the team when seeding you seem to get seeded much lower, so I suggest just being 3 when seeding.
