So as many of you may know, there is going to be a revamp of Howling Abyss that is tied to Bilgewater lore, known as Butcher Bridge. I love the idea and the look of it, and I hope it doesn't end up being a temporary map. Every map deserves a little love in my opinion, ya feel? Let me know what you guys think of Butcher Bridge or what may become of it! (P.S. can't wait for Tahm Kench to come out!)
It will be a temporary map, it's a special event that they're planning to do so it'll be gone once the event is over.
It's probably going to be a temporary map, but since the differences are purely visual lots of people are hoping that it will become a permanent addition (a random chance of 2 maps each time you queue up for ARAM). Some have suggested bringing back the proving grounds for a third map and there's been talk of buying map skins. TL;DR: Probs temporary, but the community's working to find a way around that.
