Suggestion for a New Gamemode
I noticed a major difference between high and low ranks a while back. In high-rank games, the jungle is almost always completely lit by well-placed wards, the players understand the benefits of vision control.
But in low-rank games, I get flamed for upgrading my trinket (Seriously?).
Some people just don't seem to realize the importance of the wards, because they do not seem to have an immediate and guaranteed impact on the game. Players can buy a blood thirster and know that they will do more damage and get more sustain, but they will never know for certain that the sight ward they just bought can be of any use.
That is why I am proposing... (You've seen the title) ...A new game mode.
This new gamemode would emphasize the importance of having vision, the only problem is... I only have scattered ideas of ways to achieve this. Here are a few things that could be involved:
Vision Shrines - These shrines would be captured like the altars in Twisted Treeline, but would give vision in various parts of the jungle.
_Dark Minions - _ These special minions lowers the vision range of nearby enemy minions/wards/champions.
_Vision Rewards - _ Players get rewards for the percent of vision they hold on the map, encouraging the players to constantly re-ward. (haha, get it?)
_Boom Bots - _ These special minions travel randomly through the jungle to do damage to the nexus (like the zz'rot portal voidlings), encouraging players to ward their jungle to try to catch them.
Okay, I know I am not too good with making creative ideas... That's why I made this post. What do you guys think? Would you guys want a gamemode like this? Feel free to comment down below your own ideas and suggestions!
