Team builder in ranked?

I feel like a lot of the fighting and raging in ranked play comes from the fact that not everybody gets to play their favourite role or champion, and they have to play support for the "tenth time in a row", which leads to raging about how they would be better than their jungler. If we could introduce team builder into ranked, everybody would get their preferred role and champion, and if somebody doesn't like a pick trying to join their team, they can decline it until they find someone they like. This community would be a whole lot better if people could play who they wanted, where they want them, all the time. Who's with me?

I agree but ranked should have pick and ban phase I believe they need pick a role and get matched up accordingly but imagine and lcs where anyone can be who ever they want fenix always azir and so on I believe pick ban can't leave ranked but picking roles would be amazing

I believe they are working on a teambuilder like ranked queue and I heard it might possibly be out next season. It's not teambuilder exactly but rather you queue as a specific role like WoW and then you get thrown into a lobby with the four other roles and then do things normally. You can't possibly have a ranked queue where you select your champion and queue up like that. There is a banning phase to get rid of the OP. On top of that it's always great to know who you are playing against before you pick a champion.

Bad idea because ranked is supposed to show skill, as well as diversity. Its also supposed to show that you know how to counter-pick the enemy, to build a team comp against them, not just play whatever you and your friends what. Theres a reason ranked play is draft mode only

I definitely agree however I think you should do it the way they have designed already. Currently you pick 2 roles then go into ban phase then pick your champions. I mean this will stop most of the trolling and what not however I know there will be that one guy that just picks Tryndamere support/top gets support but pick tryndamere instead -_____-

they are already working on this they have said so many times. this is the current build they are working on

-you pick 2 roles -your main role is more likely to be picked, but if that one has too many people taking it you will get your secondary -there is a fill option -in champ select you are declared who is where. -you do not queue as a champ -they are thinking of giving a bonus if you pick a less popular role (most likely sup and jung)
