League of Legend's Maps

I always thought why can't league of legends keep the maps they make are modify so we could play on them when we wanted to. If they don't put it in pvp at least put it in custom so we can play around. Making new maps would also add variety to the game. Sure the new maps would get old sooner are later. Aren't the old maps even older then them? I would like to keep the maps so we could find more ways to play the game. Like make more minigames are just admire how the maps look. What do you guys think about this?
