Nexus not as impressive.

It may just be me, but when I saw the Nexus currently displayed it feels a little disappointing. With the current nexus it is big and looks important, the current one doesn't feel as critical... As I already said, it may just be me.

Lore wise I always wanted to believe that the six floating statues with the crystals were actually the holders for the champions souls. (the sixth being the minions) and when I noticed that the new nexus only had four prongs I was a little confused as to how, lore wise, the Nexus operates. Is there any chance I might be able to be enlightened on this?
