[Howling Abyss] Why are structures blue and purple while colorblind mode is enabled?

The minions are red and blue, so why are structures (inhibs, turrets, nexus) blue and purple? Shouldn't they be red and blue too? I like the red vs blue theme, and it just feels a bit off if the colors aren't consistent.

A while back they stated that the colors would be blue and purple to better fit the aesthetic.

the light snow background also makes certain spell effects from some skins become even harder to see...
