I sincerely believe that Legend of the Poro King is the best game mode Riot has ever created; it should be enjoyed the whole year – not just Christmas of 2014.
Edit: AND ULTRA RAPID FIRE. Please make Ultra Rapid Fire permanent too.
Poro King just fills such a small niche that being able to have it not end up like Dominion is gonna be very difficult unless they make new Poro Skins constantly. I do like it more than ARAM though.
I agree that its an awesome game mode. Personally, I think it's the most balanced of any game mode to date (balance as determined by number of viable champions).
However, the amount of effort required to maintain alternate game modes is a lot, and I'd rather see that effort go towards bringing us new game modes. Who's to say they don't have something even more awesome up their sleeve?
I totally agree, all those awesome game modes like Ascension, Hexakill, even Doombots should be kept in the game for fun. I especially loved Poro King, and in comparison to Aram it is ten times more fun.
They should definitely bring the poro king back. That was the only reason I signed on and played during Christmas. Normals, Dominions, and arams are getting old. BRING BACK ALL OF THE OTHER GAME MODES!

If they didn't keep URF, they wouldn't ever keep this. While it was fun, URF has a MUCH larger fan base, and it's still just an event game type.
i did like it but legand of the poro king is seasonal urf on the other hand would be better since it isnt seasonal

The problem with making anything permanent is that a meta develops that you're not in on unless you play it regularly, which makes it less fun than the chaos it was on release. That happened at the end there with URF the first time (although I'd love to see it come back for three to four weeks every April), and makes me cringe a little every time one of my friends invites me to ARAM.
I love this gamemode but I think URF was better
