Training room (map idea)

Of the many skills required to be a great league of legends player many of them require hours of hard gameplay and practice to perfect. Although the tutorial is great after it there no practice you are instantly thrown in to head on head combat, but what if there was a way for beta players and people who had just signed on to practice in a completely non-toxic, positive enviorment.

I give you my idea of training room. basically a new map added in which players would be able to select from a list of different skills to practice, such as orb walking, skill shot dodging, skill shot hitting, and kiting. i'm sure there are more that i have failed to mention. how i believe this could be done for an skill for example such as orb walking is the player could choose their champion and an ai, as well as there starting items. after loading into the map the ai you could click a button to start and the ai would appear and follow you around while you orb walk away with a counter counting the number of hits that you got in before getting hit. should the ai catch you it would restart the sim and you could click the button again to try again. as for skill shot dodging once the was started there would either be randomly appearing skill shots (none at the same time) that you would dodge until caught resulting in a reset of the sim or a chosen ai (allowing players to practice against particular skill shots) that would be walking around with you in the sim randomly firing out skills, with the arena being covered in bush area in which the ai could hide in.

how i believe implementing such a map/training area could benefit league of legends is that it allows for players to practice skills without having to play a game and not only fight for the chance to practice but also risk being insulted and the victim of another players rage in game for being a "hook magnet". it also allows for the friendly competition between friends for who can get the most hits in orb walking or the most dodged skillshots, all while improving player skill

i understand this was a long post and something such as this map would take a good deal of time for riot to not only implement, code, design, and test but i believe it would be worth it for players to be able to hone skills. Thank you for taking time to read the entirety of this post and i would very much appreciate if you would comment your thoughts or bump this so maybe riot will at very least hear about it and get the idea in case they ever wish to implement it.

Personally I tend to learn better via actual gameplay but I have some friends who learn by rote practice. We've done various "training room" stuff in custom games but it would be great for them if they could do things like practice orb walking without needing another player to be the target dummy.

This would be so awesome because it would help people get used to new champions really easily and make the game a bit more "easy" for new players. great idea!

As a map, they can utilize Howling Abyss. There would be really few benefits from a new map, while for jungling and ganking there could be really few effective trainings since it' s based on player prediction. As an IA, since you are training on basic skills of your coice, they can just put a modded Blitzcrank with alternative skillsets that changes on the training mode selected ( Blitz because he' s a bot, duh) to better reflect the kind of training, and then add a switch that resets him to the base and modify his skills ( or just make multiple Blitzs in the enemy side for different trainings). If all else fails remember you can still make custom games alone with intermediate bots in SR and TT, even 1v3 if you want.

Dota 2 has something like this (not as in-depth with skills though). I like this idea, and this would work on the Proving Grounds map probably.

It's a great idea, but it might be too complicated to program because for the skill-shots there are so many skill-shots speed and the distance. Overall it's a great idea because it can help people that are new.
