Please...everyone. Two words. Teamwork, Instalocking.

People always talking about "Oh, this is OP" or "Wow that champ is Broken", Well let me tell you what really wins games. This tool, which I've only seen a few people use, is the most powerful and moral boosting ability in the game. One good example of this kind of awesome power, and the enemy team will either be running, or dead. This is the kind of thing that allows a 4v5 in the midlane to work out well while while someone in the top lane is taking inhib. This....Monster of a talent, is one that I've very rarely seen. Most people don't really know about this. It is only one word, and it's also nothing you could ever buy.

Teamwork.

I have watched Yi's 1v3, and I've seen Sona's get pentakills, but the thing that is always the deciding factor in any game, is how well the team co-operates and applies all abilities together with one another. It depends somewhat on team composition, but the real key to tapping into this infinite resource, is communication and a positive attitude.

While we are on this topic, why do people instalock? if you are going to play, please, be respectful and take other people's games into mind. Just because you "mid or feed", it almost always means your team will lose. They get mad, so you don't listen, and the enemy team catches people out and split pushes their way to victory. I have had to watch 3 seperate lobbies where somebody instalocked and then one of my teammates decided to alt f4. this is ridiculous! why would anyone be so selfish!

Either way, i hope this makes everyone who reads this think a little differently, thanks for reading and i wish you the best of luck in all your games to come! If you're against me, you might need it. :D

The problem is: We are humans. We make mistakes, we misinterpret a situation and make wrong decisions.

Sometimes we decide to engage in a critical situation => 3 Kills for the enemy team.

Sometimes we disengage in rather good situations => we missed some kills.

Sometimes we decide to do dragon or baron => a few kills for the enemy team and they take baron or dragon.

It is really rare that you get a team which completely harmonizes. A team where the jungler comes always in time, where the adc is NOT greedy and yolo, where the midlane is not feeding because the are not pushing to far and get ganked.

That's why i'm stunned by the performance of LCS players. They're working together so perfectly.

For some reason, I often find that instalocks are usually some of the worst people on the team. I have no idea why, but I think that they might do it so they are guaranteed to get the champ/role they want so they can practice that champ/role. I honestly don't see why people can't practice in a bot match.

I have a personal rule of thumb. Select your champ, say where YOU are going, but do NOT lock-in until everyone has said where they are going.

Less headaches and less brats complaining "oh you took my champ, I'm feeding." Granted it will still happen, but less frequently.

insta locks is a blind pick problem. And at this point blind pick should be deleted.

I once won a 4v5 ranked with treamwork, not that they had a lack up it, our team comp was really strong.

Was playing a ranked game earlier today, somewhat even, had to leave briefly to help my parents with something (bit of an emergency), by the time I came back, my team was pretty solidly in the lead, even without me (I was on support, but we had a Lulu mid so my team certainly wasn't lacking utility). I came back, we stomped mid, won the game. I apologized for leaving and my team never raged at me. Teamwork OP.

maybe some things can be put in place, like pings to say when or who to initiate on, and a timer on locking so instalockers don't have a chance to lock right away

i personally dont like the people who instalock a champion and then take them any lane because (they can obviously do it all) or they dont get a lane so go bot lane support as "kill lane" take all the adcs cs and just play stupid causing a loss. Atleast ask the adc first if they are ok with a kill lane lol. But i agree, thats why i prefer only playing with 3 or 4 people on skype and refuse to play games by myself.

Well said! :-) Any game can be played and won as long as all team members keep teamwork in mind, instead of blindly assuming a game is lost because someone in your team gave up first blood or is behind in CS... Too often people give up just into the game. The game is not over until a nexus is down!

thats stupid all you need is to have a Katarina Annie duo and just 2v5 their team all the time forget the 3 other noobs.

It's true. It doesn't matter if a team consists of Caitlyn Jax Renekton Leblanc Leona if they're all toxic and don't work together. Every scenario they will be crushed by a team consisting of even Gangplank Urgot Anivia Ashe Karma as long as they don't work together and blame everyone. Obviously the meta is super top heavy and the majority of champions are completely unviable, but teamwork still reigns supreme.

Great post, could use a few paragraph brakes though.
