New Game Mode First 10 Minutes Summoners Rift

I thought an interesting game mode would be playing the first 10 minutes of a match for sort of training purposes face 5v5 teams against each other 3 times or best of 3 (winning done by pts from the fantasy draft to make it easier to understand who wins at the end ) or play against computers just thought it be a fun and interesting way to get to practice the early game portion of the game without having to constantly reset

It would be cool to practice, but it would turn into cheese for 'easy" wins and completely lose and training benefit. I would love a mode like this, some way to practice laning against actual people, but I haven't thought of how to make it stay similar to a real match.

That's a good point, too, actually. If there isn't a full game to be played, people won't even play the same way, so it wouldn't be good practice for the real deal.

This would be awful, in my opinion, because I don't like to play lane bullies and early game champs. I would never touch this mode for that reason. It drastically changes the balance considerations for the game overall.

If my mediocre laning phase with Swain doesn't translate to mid-game dominance (even if I lose in CS), then I just lose. See what I'm saying?

what if you were able to play this with your friend to help yourself improve the game? idk just thought it would be fun and be an interesting way to help people improve in the game.

I mean, I do that in customs. I wouldn't need a new game mode for that.

Don't get me wrong; if infinite resources were a thing, and Riot could easily afford it and it would make them even more money, sure. Whatever. Sounds great.

In the back of my mind, though, I'm always thinking about the bottom line for them, financially. I don't think a mode like this would add value to the game. It would be something that Riot had to code, support, etc., and it wouldn't increase revenue sufficiently. Customs can serve that purpose for practice well enough.

It's not so much a "this wouldn't be fun" thing. Personally, I don't think it would be, but that's not the main reason I don't want Riot doing it. I don't want Riot to do it because it would make their business worse, in my opinion. They don't have infinite resources, and I'd rather they spend those resources elsewhere.
