Quick question, I've been getting asked this myself and I don't know the exact answer. When you move up tiers (i.e. Silver, Gold, Plat) after wining 3 out 5 promo games what is the soft cap for moving back down tiers (i.e. Gold to Silver). I've done quite a bit of browsing but the only thing I could find was -75 points or perhaps 5 lost games in a row.

Officially, you won't get demoted unless you have MMR equivalent to a full tier below. For example, a Gold 5 with the MMR of the average Silver 5. However, some people have reported being demoted after consistently being matched with players only three to four divisions below (e.g. Plat 5 matched with Gold 3/4).
