Did riot keep improving the match making system??

First of all, I am not a pro player, just interesting why this system like this. And hope that riot can do something to create a better match.

Everything is good, nice graphics, events, etc. However, the match making system doesn't look prefect. I think every player has faced a problem in game, that is sometime continuous wining and continuous losing. No matter your play rank or normal game. And mostly you found the skills on both side were extremely unbalance. For example, you will match with the opponents(Whole team) who are losing for 3-4 matches continuously. I have no idea why it happens all the time and the player just got play by the system. And it is just unfair for everyone. So I wish riot can look deep into the match making system, improve the calculation, improve the game environment.
