[Bug] (Mac OS X) Unable to play updated Summoner's Rift

Hi,

Whenever I try to get into a game using the updated Summoner's Rift map, I get repeated Bugsplat error messages. Despite my several attempts at reconnecting, the result is always the same.

I'm running Mac OS X, and after speaking with a few people, I'm convinced that this is an operating system issue.

Regards, Terry

Do you have shadows turned off? If I turn them off it crashes for me 100% repro. 10.9.3.

Mac OS X is entirely unplayable. Does not load at all, once I hit 100% loaded I always get a bugsplat. 2010 Macbook 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 4Gb ram Integrated graphics running OSX Mavericks.

EDIT: User: Doesntadvertise "In your PBE folder, do you see a Config folder? If so, open the file game.cfg in a TextEdit and change:

ShadowQuality=0 to ShadowQuality=1" fixed it.

I had the same problem, but after a while I finally got in. Turned out the new map is heavier then the old map since I could play the old one in 60FPS with best settings. If I play the new map in best settings my max is 20FPS, hope this is known to riot and that they will dive in to this soon.
