New maps?

So I googled this question and could only find old threads, it's kinda boring to play only one or two maps.

Why Riot don't make more? There could be more 5 vs 5 maps, similar to Heroes of the Storm, where the players engage horizontally on the screen or more maps like Howling Abyss or other game modes. If the other game modes or maps would be unbalanced then they can just limit the choice of heroes to make it balanced.

Does Riot do anything today on the development of the game other than trying to sell us skins?

Riot refuses to even maintain the 4 they have. They won't make more.

Riot generally avoids spending resources on things that don't promote SR. As such, all of the alternate game modes are maintained, but not exactly given support. Adding more permanent game modes or maps would just exacerbate this problem.
