Hello fellow ARAM players!
Me and my wife play ARAM all the time. However, the only way to achieve a ranked title is by playing SR or TT. ARAM takes a different kind of skill to play. Not any old SR player can play ARAM. I believe that people should not be limited to only 2 maps to be able to get ranked status.
What do you all think?

ranked play for ARAM doesn't make any sense.
ARAM is entirely luck based. You can have a stacked team full of high elo players but if their team lacks poke/sustain/etc, it doesn't matter how good they are if the enemy team has a better ARAM comp. Also you will have ARAM only accounts rampaging through games using only Sona, Janna, Xerath, Jayce, Fiddlesticks, etc.
It isn't a bad idea but there needs to be adjustments to make it fair. For starters all champions need to be available so everyone has an even chance of getting each champion.
I love this idea! I play ARAM all the time, and they already have a rank for twisted treeline. WHY NOT MAKE IT FOR ARAM! I give this 11/10

So the prerequisite's would be:
Level 30 (Duh)
Own all champions
Be in good standing and considered non-toxic (30 or negative/lost less Tribunal cases)
the pick ban phase will be back and forth one at a time 15 seconds each. (turn will end once ban is completed)
Everyone gets to ban one champion then all are blocked except the random button and you can only hit it once(no re-rolls)
If you fail to click the random button a random champion will be assigned(
)
If you fail to ban on your turn a random champion will be banned( )
ARAM, as it is, is (by definition) far too dependent on luck. There is no real solution to this either, even if it were to be draft 5v5 on the Howling Abyss, since a TON of champions would be overcentralized/pick or ban status. The nerfs to balance them all would be incredibly time intensive and I don't think many people in general feel they want a ranked ARAM status anyways.
Adding another criticism I didn't see anyone else make, ARAM queue already takes quite a bit of time, 3-6 minute queue times seem to be the average. I imagine splitting up the ARAM playerbase would only add to this
Everyone would dodge so much whenever they didn't think the had a good set of champions on their team. I like the idea, but it'd probably end up being virtually unplayed since unranked ARAM would be considered mostly the same thing but you could get into games a lot faster and with fewer dodges.

Not to mention getting reported by my entire team because i'm the only one with no poke yet i am supposed to be somehow doing well in ARAM.
Sorry but so long as ARAM stays random, ranked will NEVER happen.
Hi there, My names Mr Tumnus and I'm not quite sure what to say as my thoughts, I mean I think its a great idea, but being completely honest I feel like quite a few people against it have made valid points, and you have to remember that this mode wouldn't have existed without people populating an amazing unexistant game mode in customs. I think there is only so far you can take something and there would be too many flaws to make it a clean competitive mode. I do however Believe that Dominion ranked needs to be considered. the thing with THAT tho is that not enough people play it to even get a draft pick game, sad face
