The New Summoner's Rift AKA BULLCRAP

Aaaah, to have played since alpha, to have seen promise after promise pushed back and then broken, to have seen the Molten Core map come, go, change to a new game mode, and go again for good, to have seen Riot start balancing the game around the meta, to watch the death of diversity as the seasons moved on, and to still see thousands beg for URF back on just about every comments section of every announcement only to be ignored along with most of the community in general, to watch them kill the forums and still avoid active engagement on the new boards, to see seasonal maps and items vanish from the game, to watch the harrowing devolve into a skin event that syncs up with a featured game mode release.

To watch as cancerous champions stay untouched while others are nerfed out of viability. To watch Riot slowly withdraw into their little bubble world that has no real connection with the people who actually pay to keep this game running, and to still see people who think Riot is doing them a favor by running a game that has now made billions of dollars.

Aaaah, to have played for more than a few months, to have remembered the cries of 'UPGRADE SR IT LOOKS LIKE SHIT,' to have remembered the unveiling of the new Rift to general praise and adoration. Where does the time go...

The new rift is very annoying to watch on a stream. The other rift was easier on the eyes because of the amount of detail. The new map looks very cartoony and is going to have me spending less time watching streams and even less watching LCS... The waterfall on purple side bot lane is pretty though...

.....or you can be appreciative that they are continuing to upgrade the quality of their FREE game. If that is not too much to ask for.

Try up-ing the visual quality of the Rift, if your computer can handle it that is. If you're running everything on the lowest graphical setting, the Rift looks pretty blurry.

I think that it was to add more but take away some unneeded things.

To bring in more animation - take away the unneeded colors

To make it more vibrant - take away the darkness in the background

But to do that, we need to take away unneeded stuff - takes away unneeded extras in between walls.

We now want to add different things to make it majestic - takes away old things, definitions in certain areas are taken away

To give nice visuals to monsters - Some were changed to be less, torches are no more

This is probably how it happened. And they may had taken more away than needed but it sure helps us on the West Coast. Not much to load. Nice scenery. No to hardly any lag. And (this is personal) my computer doesn't overheat anymore.

I'm not sure if its the best they can do but after a whole year of this, I'm happy with the results. They did try hard and wanted to make it not only vast but also accessible to toasters. That way, we have less lagging issues.

Yea I agree with above. Seems like an epic waste of resources to me. I don't like the new map and my GF can barely play it b/c of performance issues.

I liked the colors of the old rift, but new one isn't blurry. Check your settings, maybe they got reset.

its not JUST the way it looks. Shaco can no longer solo dragon at level 6. Many champions who use to be able to jungle no longer can. Suddenly dragon buff puts a team thats ahead even more ahead than they were before. Where as gold could be made up in other ways buffs can not. Lots of gameplay problems that are very unbalanced that I dislike with this new patch. But I also REALLY hate how it looks.

And as for you calling me a kid I prolly have socks older than you =\

its not just how it looks. The jungle mechanics have totally changed in many ways that harms the game. Many unconventional junglers which I use to love to play no longer work. Due to lack of health potions for jungler and longer smite timers. Another example of a change shaco can no longer regularly solo the dragon at level 6. This is a huge nerf to shaco. The dragon buff now lets teams that are ahead stay ahead even more. So many balance problems

Or you could try to stop using your grandpa's computer and get one that has been made in the last 5 years.

You just don't care because you're probably Bronze or Silver, people who play ranked and are sweat on the game like myself, don't want to deal with FPS drops and were not rude little 12 year old like your self who get top of the line computer that your mommy bought you man.
