The new Summoners Rift is lagging me out....

The new map is completely lagging me out. It's pretty ridiculous because the changes aren't even that significant but it's so bad I can't even click a character to attack.. This is disappointing news if they plan on making this permanently on all maps because I'll probably have to go back to DotA or something, I was enjoying this 10x more by the way.

I do have one small suggestion for any possible developer who may be looking here (I have no idea if they look here or not) but add a Map Theme" option maybe, for the people who love the nostalgia and the less lag haha. -Thanks.

I have the same problem, normally I play jungle or support and every time I get near a lane as jung I drop from 20-30 fps to 1 fps for about a minute or two

Why is this happening..? I mean I don't want to sound like a dick but the graphics aren't even that much better. They barely even changed anything at all.. Now if there is more than 15 characters (minions included) it starts lagging like hell. They need to fix this right now cause it's quite irritating.
