I've played 4 games since i stopped in 2 months, and all these bots just showed up on pvp matches, Not bot matches, I played 2 3's and 2 5's.
3's are filled with bots, every game i had 1-4 bots, In a non-bot gamemode. 5's, i got 1-3 bots every game. What's the point of botting? And why is it happening, i honestly see no point at all in it, It ruins the fun in the game for me.
People use bots to quickly get accounts to level 30 so they can sell them. The people that buy them are the bronzes/silvers who think they "did bad on their placement matches" and want a do-over, or people that have been banned.
The "gold seller websites from the MMOs" and the like have always been botting, we didn't see them before as they were mainly in custom games, as soon as riot removed the xp gain from custom games they switched over to pvp/co-op mainly less played modes like dominion/TT/ARAM .
I think its people with banned accounts rying to get to 30 or companies that are looking to sell accounts. It's very annoying.

I agree i wish someone would do something about it. i submit several reports daily on the issue since at least every other game has at least 1 bot in it.
How can you tell if someone is botting then?
