Ranked Solo Q needs to change

The rank solo q system needs a new way of scoring points. I get it. It's not all about kills. But why am I going 26/5, 15/3, 12/4, etc. and losing points in the rank system when I offer advice and toxic teammates don't listen?? In Bronze 5 I get paired with more clueless people than I know what to do with: AFKers, feeders, people playing support that engage in 2v5s then proceed to CAPS LOCK YELL AT ME FOR NOT HELPING THEM!!!!

I'm so over it. PLEASE. Factor in taking down towers and objectives. I should be held responsible for playing like shit, but not when two scum suckers at the bottom of the barrel AFK and eat cheese sticks while I fail another preliminary round and get stuck in the quicksand that is B5.

Well, before you complaining about a new system, you might want to review your own game play and see where you can make improvements. It's much easier to blame a system, then to look in the mirror and try to improve. You don't think we all have to deal with toxic players that make dumb mistakes? Think again, if you don't. Scores are good, and do hold some credibility to them, but if you're constantly putting up high scores and not winning, chances are, you aren't doing the proper things needed for your team as THAT guy to carry a game.

I'm talking about events that I have absolutely no control over. Teammates willing to take advice and split push or group to get an objective obviously don't cause problems and don't get me that bummed if we lose. I'm talking about people that AFK or try a bonk ass role for the first time and feed the other team to the point of no return. Right now the point system is completely based on win or lose and I think for SOLO q it makes sense to grant points based on individual effort. If ONE person goes 1/11 that effects me who now has to get ganked by a fed jgler or in teamfights when someone is 4 levels ahead of everybody else.

Your argument is like saying innocent people that go to jail might as well serve the sentence. SOMEONE fucked up, they have someone to blame, throw their innocent ass in jail.
