Leona and Diana (Solari and Lunari) Thoughts

Ever since I read Leona's and Diana's lore I have been fascinated. At first glance it might appear as a light vs dark kinda thing but thats not at all what it is. Its Truth vs Ideals. This is a concept I am in love with just by the concept of it. Is what we believe in true? Or is the truth aganst out moral code? Its a fight that makes you think deep about what we believe in. It makes us question what we do.

In essence the Leona and Diana rivalry stand for just this. Leona is strong in her ideals, seeing it her duty to protect the weak and in need. Diana is strong in her pursuit to reveal the truth, no matter the costs. We can presume this is them representing their respective sides, but really we dont know. We dont know what the Lunari stand for, it was never explained. The hunt for truth is Diana's personal goal, not of the Lunari that we know of. As for Leona, we presume that since she is the face of the Solari as chosen of the sun, that she her ideals represent theirs', but this isnt certain. Though it is perhaps what the Solari used to be.

"According to legend, the Solari were formed by a warrior who could call the raw might of the sun down upon his enemies in combat. He claimed Mount Targon's summit, the point on Valoran closest to the sun, for his solar devotion, a tradition which generations of Solari have preserved to this day."

It could be that he and Leona possibly (this is pure conjecture, as nothing states this) shared personality traits and the Solari was founded on this, but like stated, this is conjecture. But if true it could be that somewhere along the line the Solari strayed. And maybe then they attacked the whenever they apeared Lunari and killed them or forced converted them... but there just isnt enough info on the Lunari to form any sort of timeline to even form a proper hypothesis.

I digress. What I mean to say is it could be that Leona and Diana might not personality wise represent their respective factions.

All I really want is some sort of Targon event to give more information. Like after Leona discovers what Diana had done, she hears the limited details the surviving elders will inevitably try to hide, she tries looking herself into the Lunari or something to trigger it.

Overall I just want more about this Lore!

On a side note, what side would you people be on if a Targon event were to occur? I myself like truth and facts, but I also love having my own beliefs... im torn...

This is just a blob of my thoughts put in words. I just really like Lore.
