@Reav3 Skin Splash Art Updates

Next year will likely be more of a 50/50 split like 2017. We have done surveys ourselves and found that it is about 50/50 from players in wanting VGUs or New Champs. VGUs are of course good because it brings older champions up to modern standards, but they also incur a cost, that not matter how good of a job we do some people will quit. We have to balance all of this when we decide what to prioritize.

So, VGU's are slowing down next year. I'm pretty sure this has been asked before, but I never saw an answer. Will the skin splash updates for old VU's continue then, assuming there's enough artists for the job? I really hope so, because there's a couple champs that REALLY need it Sivir Annie in particular (though I admit that I may be a bit biased toward Annie on account of her being my most played champ). But those two (and Garen , I guess) are the ones that have the highest number of those terrible imported splash arts, so I think they ought to be prioritized. Sivir first because hers are the most stylistically dissonant. I think it'd be okay to break the "no two of the same type of champ in a row" rule since she'll be at the very least an entire year after MF, the last one to get the splash updates.

It'd also be acceptable for any of the others on the list to get updates, most of them certainly need it Alistar Ashe Gangplank Heimerdinger Karthus Nasus Renekton Sona

Also also, would it ever be in the realm of possibility for someone like Katarina to get a splash art update? She got VU'd a long time ago, but some of her splash arts are still really old (also she's another one with a lot of import arts). But you've never mentioned her when talking about these updates. You could say this is because her update was so old, yet Ashe came before her and is being considered.

Soraka TwistedFate MasterYi would also be nice to see. Soraka only needs updates for her two oldest skins, the rest are great. TF has already had most of his splash arts updated, either directly or indirectly (because of the short-lived Card skin line and Eve's VGU). Yi's in the same boat, most of his have already been updated. Just finish the last three and he'd be good.

Viktor Anivia also got visual updates in the past, but I'm not sure if they're really up to standard.

Finally, I left out anyone that got a VU, but still definitely needs a full VU/VgU/VGU.

I'd really appreciate to hear from you, Reav3.

One person that I feel is really due for a VGU is Zilean. Riot talks about how these updates are a way that they can bring old champs up to modern standards, and I feel as though Zilean is one of the most forgotten champs in league. Itd be so nice to see a character all the way from league's beginning be updates. I do understand that he did receive a mini reword a long while back, but he only has on average a 3.8% populatiry rate, mained by only .5% of players
