The particles on Taric's new skins need to be recoloured.

Now I know the skins are on PBE which means that particles are not final. However, Riot did not mention anything about the particles on Emerald or AotFA Taric actually changing. I know they're not expensive skins, but since they're getting visually updated, you might as well give them the appropriate colours for their effects.

For Emerald Taric, I know green probably wouldn't work for clarity purposes (healing spells are usually green) but I think they should be a somewhat lime/yellow colour. It would fit the skin perfectly.

For AotFA Taric, just purple/pink. There's no reason not to have this.

We're not asking for anything flashy. Just simple recolours of the spells. I'm pretty sure you can do that, Riot.

They did it for Trundle and his skins. Well, the pillar, anyway. But this means that it's more than possible for them to do it for Taric too, right?

It should. Also I just want to add, anything blue on BLOODSTONE taric is silly in theory and just looks out of place in application.

The original pillars for those skins were also different before the update. They are staying consistent with the effects/models/particles the skins had before.

Because the effects are passable for those skins.

The problem with Taric's skins is that they change his gem colors, and therefore when you don't change the particle effects (which are also gems) with it, it looks really odd.

The gems are the right colours, but the particles are not, in case you didn't realize. Also, none of us are complaining; we're merely giving constructive criticism.

It's not constructive when this is what you should expect. They don't change particles on cheap skins and that's it. Also blue, green and pink,blue actually work perfectly fine together. But I guess color theory is beyond the point in this thread.

Yeah, they do sometimes. Check Battlecast and Runeborn Xerath. They are 520 and 750 skins, respectively, and have particle effects that are the appropriate colours.

Quit being a jerk and look at the pics again yourself. Bastion on all of them including the 975 bloodstone taric skin is still blue. A simple recolor would make a lot of people happy and it would look a lot better.

And then you realize I wasn't complaining at all and was explaining why it would look awkward on Taric's skin as opposed to Garen and Poppy's.

Please don't leave out the bloodstone taric skin. It just looks kinda awkward to have bloodstones shooting blue ish stuff and having a blue bastion gem appear on his w.

You're right, now that you mention it. Bloodstone Taric should probably get more particles than it has, given that it's a 975 RP skin.

Bloodstone Taric actually does have recolored particles. They are more red/blue which is in line with Bloodstone Lissandra.

I'm sure you guys can do a much better job of changing the colors on the Bastion. Because having it remain blue and white, in skins that have their primary colors as pink, green and gold, and black and red, it doesn't make any sense that all the Bastion particles are standard Taric's. And I don't believe you when you say they are changed. The stuns have different particles, but the art team seems to have dropped the ball on everything else.

Let me put it another way: You know you did something wrong when you changed something and people tell you they can't see the change. It feels so strange to play Emo Taric when my gem shields aren't any different from the base skin, and it feels even stranger when I'm told that they're supposed to be different.

It's probably for the same reason that they left the speed gate blue on Forsaken Jayce.

Red Particles = Enemy

Blue Particles = Ally

Except the gem shroud has absolutely no clarity issues at all. If the shroud is on an ENEMY then obviously it's the ENEMY Taric's Bastion, not yours. It should not be difficult to understand unlike Forsaken Jayce's gate. The Bastion particles deserve noticeable changes across all of Taric's skins.

Hey i just watched the Bloodstone lissandra skin spotlight and its not blue. Its Red and Black. Which would be awesome on the taric skin. Just saying. ;)

well keep in mind that his emerald and 5th-age-skin are just 520/750 RP,so they are in a skin tier where they might get quality-of-life-changes to certain spells(which they actually do have for the E),but no completely new skin effects

Bloodstone on the other hand is 975RP and he actually does have unique some more unique skin effects(his gems are differently shaped for Q,his E and R have different designs),however his W doesn't seem to have new effects and he doesn't have a unique recall,which is kind of a bummer.
