Twisted Fate Splash on the website?

On the league website, under the champions section, if you go to twisted fate's page, the splash art of him at the top of the screen is totally whack. His cards are colorless and his lips are fuller. Its been this way for months now and I've been searching the forums like crazy but it seems nobody has noticed yet. Any ideas on what this could mean?

EDIT: For people saying they are using a different version of the splash art, I don't think this makes sense because also on twisted fate's champion page, its shows his usual base splash art along with his other skins, its only different in the banner on the top. I don't think this is a mistake or just a different version, I think Riot is hinting at something intentionally.
