How does Kayn view Zed? Does Kayn see him as a father figure or love him? Does he intend to kill him even if it can be avoided?
How about Zed? Does care for Kayn or simply see him as tool to use and discard? How does Zed view Rhaast and how it is taking over Kayn's body? Does he worry for Kayn or just worry that a demon guy with an evil scythe might kill all of Ionia?
If anyone who might know can answer these questions that would be cool.

An orphan with a gift and a drive that others can't control, no matter how much they try. No matter how much Zed tries, in Kayn's case, lol. I think Zed might also see something he could never be in Kayn. Kayn's link to the shadow is deep, for whatever reason. Maybe Zed hopes this is a sign that Kayn could do better than him? Ultimately succeed him? And he may have other, darker motives as well.
I think Kayn's respect for Zed is just as deep. Unfortunately, he's in the process of convincing himself that the only way he can prove himself to his father figure is by becoming something more than Zed wants him to be. Stronger than Zed. Strong enough to defeat him, if necessary.

As for Zed caring about Rhaast taking over Kayn's body I don't really know I couldn't find any answers but if I were to guess Zed either admires the power Kayn has to hold Rhaast or that he is concerned for Kayn's well being and tries to keep a eye on his condition but not actually showing that he is.

Thats a really cool story they could delve into. Now im hoping riot works the Zed and Kayn angle for the next story that features them. ( Maybe Kayn shows up to help in the hunt for Jhin). Thanks for taking time to answer my questions.

Didn't the same situation happen between Kusho and Zed in the past?

I feel his vision is totally warped from the beginning due to how his childhood was
He might appear in some story, but I don't know if it's possible, as there seems to be some urgency in the stories he has so far, like indicating that he can't remain Kayn for long since he gets the Scythe, and that he will become SA or Rhaast pretty soon, so its possible that if he gets to go hunting Jhin, he might be so shocked due to his art that Rhaast takes over during the mental breakdown... or he actually likes the art, achieves Shadow Assassin and becomes Jhin's apprendice

Well altho that's a pretty gucci idea, Zed only killed Kusho because they got into a fight about Zed's right to gain the Forbidden Art. Now, I'm hoping Kayn doesn't pull some shit on Zed and kill him, but if he does, if it does come to that, I doubt it'd be in the same way as Zed and his master.
I liken Zed and Kusho to Red Hood and Batman. Here, with Kayn and Zed, I'd liken it to Snake and The Boss from Metal Gear. I doubt something along the lines of Kusho/Zed would happen, but if Kayn kills Zed, it'd be on Zed's own terms.
