"Classic" Option for Icons Recieving Updates? :'(

I guess this isnt really a sentiment felt by too many people, but its a really big deal to me. The old bear claw icon is so attached to my identity as a League player/community member, and while there's nothing WRONG with the new one, I don't like it. I understand the desire to modernize the icon art to go along with updates to champion art, but if those of us around before the change could somehow keep our old icons, I would really really love that. I know it's kinda a dumb little thing, but that bear paw means a lot to me. Thanks for your time, chime in if you feel the same!!!

Look, Riot thinks the Traditional Skins for champions VUs was a mistake, If that's not telling of what kind of stance they'll take on preserving older content then I don't know what is.

Riot wants things to look better they don't care about keeping bad looking nostalgia

Sadly, I think you're both probably right. item 3070

The art changes aren't "modernizations". In the vast majority of cases, they're huge improvements. Riot doesn't want to keep bad art and I think they're right on that.

I personally have no feelings about the bear claw one (I don't remember what the new one looks like), but I remember looking at a bunch of the other icons and thinking they were really nice/better than the previous iteration.
