Blood Censorship

Why censor blood in the splash arts? I think it is overly unnecessary, and some of the splash arts being censored need that aspect of blood to give it a certain personality. These characters are supposed to be violent, bloodthirsty killing machines. I feel the removal of blood takes away from this. Stinger Akali looks like she has a coffee stain in the background, for bard's sake. I fear there is something coming that we can't prevent.
