I was really wondering why Riot doesnt make a full LoL movie ? They really do some amazing champion trailers on time to time and they clearly have the budget for it. I would really like to see the story of league of legends in a couple of movie series.
They have more than enought tools for it so why not ?:D We've all seen some really good trailers from Riot , is the Varus trailer which is really amazing. Perfect graphics perfect story.
the 5 minute animations they make take 7 months to create so imagine a 1 hour movie and think about how long thats gonna take.
Ok then, what would be the story? What would be the plot of a League of Legends movie? Who would even be the main character?

I think you're fully underestimating how much work & resources goes into making a movie.
They've addressed this. Besides the fact they would need to find an actual movie studio/company to make it for them, video game movies haven't done well and they are a new kind of movie that isn't well established as a genre.
Riot doesn't make those cinematics. They're outsourced to a variety of production companies.
