why are the voidlings from kai'sa stuff not voidlings?

the void already had a semi consistant theme among creatures. sharp carnivore teeth, and incredibly insect-like.

kai'sa is here now and all the voidlings from her stuff look a lot like faceless hairless mammals with very flat teeth. from the way their limbs are oriented and the very low number of them to the very flat teeth they seem more like starcraft zerg than what the proper and correct voidlings are.
