I must congrats Lux for been the 1º champion to have a 1 Ultimate skin +1 Mythic skin + 2 (incoming) Legendary skins + 4 Epics skin in a total of 13 ( were only 3 are unavailable )!!!! Riot really, this can only be a joke, pls tell me this is a joke!

Not even Ezreal had this much, he only have 1 ultimate + 1 legendary + 4 epics in a total of 13 ( were 5 are unavailable ), not Akali , not Ahri , not MissFortune , no other champion got this treatment, so its unfair to ALL champions, especially those o STILL ONLY GOT 1 SKIN !! or two.

This isnt fair and dont say is about money, this is been greedy, very !!!

The real answer was made already by Riot:

She (and the other popular champs) will pay for the development of skins for the non-popular champs.

Show your support and DON'T buy her newest skins!

Keep in mind her Ultimate skin, is actually 10 different skins. Each has its own VFX, own model, own voice, etc. I count each of them as a separate skin.

If you look at the stats, she is played in mid and support, and she isn't even amongst the top 5 most played champs in both roles. Why is she getting 2 more skins.

This game is free to play, meaning that Riot makes literally 0 money off people who don't buy RP. Their paychecks come from puchases people make, for example skins. Now Lux is a popular champion, which means that more people are likely to buy a skin for her than say, Ivern. his means that making a lux skin makes more money than a skin for a less popular champion. If they stopped making skins for popular champions because "they have too many" what do you think they gain from that as a company? They would start losing money because they aren't catering to their revenue generators. It's like a store intentionally choosing not to order more of their most bought product because they've already sold a lot. Besides, the money made from these skins will partially go towards the creation of skins for less popular champions like Ornn and Kindred.

It's cause of the porn the community makes of her that Riot's like "She is very popular, let's make more skins for her!" And I say this like it's a bad thing (which it kinda is) but you know I'm still gonna go buy it [sg-jinx]

Riots justification for this is most likely the fact that 3 of these skins(Pyjama Guardian, Prestige Battle Academia and Cosmic) aren't full skins, but variants of other skins, so they don't count as skins as far as Riot is concerned and are treated more like premium chromas.
