Do targon champions represent sources of light, fighting the void(darkness)?

After reading the targonian lores, and seeing that leona is blessed by the sun, diana by the moon, and pantheon actually getting power from warrior constellation(stars), i think they might represent the different sources of light.The other 2 champions can be taric, representing radiating light from earthen gems and Aurelian sol , representing pure light. so can it be that our ''light sources '' fighting the darkness (void maybe?) together? What are your thoughts?
