Let me ask you. Which one of these skins looks more like 'Safari Caitlyn'? Perhaps the one with the animal in it, but certainly not the one that takes place in what looks to be ruins of a city? What's more is that the upcoming splash sexualizes Caitlyn more (I don't want this to become a Tracer/Blizz thing) and I always liked this skin because it didn't do that compared to Officer Caitlyn. Please don't change this skin splash as it does not embody the idea of 'Safari Caitlyn'.

Animals aren't only found in grassy areas. This is Valoran and she could be tracking one into a set of ruins or hunting one that has ruins for it's lair. Please don't be so narrow minded.

You're correct that the new splash looks ridiculous, but the old splash is not up to the artistic standard/quality of the modern game.

Also Riot already bought this splash art. They paid an artist for his or her time. They aren't showing these to get feedback, they're testing it on the public server to find any bugs before it goes live.

The name of this skin in Chinese server is not "Safari Caitlyn", it's called "Tomb Raider Caitlyn".

Riot's already said they aren't changing their minds on this. However, these changes are short term; the main goal is to streamline the pipeline between regions so that splash art changes aren't a huge nightmare like they are now. While a lot of the Chinese splashes are not good/terrible, they're stop-gap measures.

Just logged in after a hiatus, and I find this godawful splash for my favorite skin. The old splash may allegedly not have been up to the modern "artistic standard", but the absolute minimum artistic standard should be that the art resemble the character it depicts. The old art looked like Caitlyn. The new art looks like Miss Fortune with a rifle. Seriously. The light-colored loose hair, the curves, the floppy hat... did the artist even see the Safari Caitlyn model? Exercize some big-picture judgment, Riot. Don't just pick the art with the finer brushwork.

I doubt that this would turn into another Tarcer-incident. I mean not only is fanservice nothing new in LoL,but caitlyn is one of the more sexualized characters already.
