Well there was a Tahm Kench figurine in the "explore bilgewater"-section,so I guess that Tahm kench is rather well known there and that GP would know about him.
However I doubt that Gp would take a deal with Tahm. GP seems to be the guy who knows that such a deal won't be worth it,so I doubt he'd do it. Not to mention that it would probably go against GPs pride,he will take Bilgewater back on his own,he won't let others do it for him.

I doubt it. GP seems to like to handle things hands on. He's the kind of heartless bastard who carves into someones bones while they are still alive. And he would take heartless bastard as a compliment.

GP probably has at least heard of the legends of Tahm Kench. Whether or not he believes them is another matter. But he is probably worldly enough that he knows there is something to the legend.

Something about regaining his empire and yatta yatta yatta. I think he would realize there wasn't much chance that GP would take the deal and not put too much effort in it.

Again, I don't think that GP would take the deal. And what does GP have that he values so much? To GP, everything is a means to an end that he wants to get to by himself.

To be fair, WE don't even know if Tahm Kench REALLY exists. Seems that the new lore has its fair share of legends and tales, and Tahm might just be one of them. Wasn't Jaredan the one who told that with this new lore, they don't mandatorily have to create characters that exist, or something?
Tahm seems to feed not on physical matter, but rather emotions. I would assume his payment would be devouring Sarah shortly after she learns she failed to kill Gangplank and all her hard work is for nothing.
That said Tahm seems to deal more with riverways, rather than the ocean. I don't really see him and GP meeting up.
