In one of her interactions she says that looking at vi is like looking into a mirror. In another one she says that she is vi's future which I interpret what vi will look like when she is older. Also she states herself she killed vi's parents.
I might be misinterpreting this though.
Well she doesn't state that she killed Vi's parents, but she alludes to it. At the very least she knows a hell of a lot more about Vi's history than we do.
Vi is from Zaun, Camille is from Piltover.
I hope there's some concrete stuff posted about it with her official release. Everything revolving around Piltover/Zaun is like cocaine to me for some reason, just itching for lore updates. Anyways, the two lines "It's like looking into a crude, boorish mirror" and "Watch it, girl. I am your future" make me think that she's comparing herself to Vi, as you could consider both of them vigilantes, while simultaneously telling Vi that she is on the path of becoming the same as Camille.
Now on the subject of killing Vi's parents. There's a lot of disagreement on whether or not the line "Ever wonder why you're an orphan?" is actually directed at Vi or not. I can't seem to find the source of the quote itself however, so if you have a link or something, I'd appreciate it. Anyways, it honestly makes sense to me that it would be something pertaining to Vi herself, as I'd say having no memory of anyone or anything in your life before the age of six counts as orphaned. Assuming that Camille is hinting that she killed them, we can come up with a couple of things. Probably more than that.
The first, is that Vi's parents were Zaunites that Camille killed because they threatened the integrity of Piltover. Vi was left alive because Camille couldn't justify killing a child. Could possibly integrate the Vi/Jinx super soldier theory into this one, which would give Camille reason to kill Vi's parents if they were leading the project.
The second, and my personal favorite. Camille is Vi's mother. We see in the comic on page 14 that she has a bit of bitterness. "Don't tell me you love him" and "They always disappoint you in the end" referring to Sofia and her love of Volkage. Her hatred of a Zaunite going for a powergrab in Piltover aside, there isn't really any reason for her say these things. She's obviously pretty salty, probably about a past love gone wrong. Maybe she was the naive noblewoman who fell in love with a man from Zaun, birthed his child, then felt betrayed when he ran off with the potential heir as some sort of ransom. With the resources at her disposal, she probably could have easily tracked down the man and killed him. Vi would have been a more delicate matter though. I figure the only way that Camille could save her family the shame in Piltover, would be to kill or abandon the child in Zaun. Let's assume she chose abandon, and stick the orphan label on Vi. From there, Vi would either be raised by a gang, or picked up by Viktor for experimentation. Also, this ties into the mirror quote from above. If Vi is related to Camille, she could definitely be described as crude and boorish when compared.
Could you imagine if Vi was nobility and found out though? Talk about an inflated ego.
I think I rioter elaborated about the mirror quote. They both use appendage weapons, but each a different variant, equating Vi's gauntlets (Hands) to Camile's blades (Legs). Same idea, different execution.
That's why she said "Crude boorish" Mirror.
