Why does Tristana have fur on her face in her splash art?

It seems like a really strange thing to add to a splash when it's not part of the original design or the VU design that everyone embraced so quickly?

I'm totally okay with her being a mouse eared smurf, Riot- but an actual mouse is going too far.

It also makes me deeply concerned for what you have in mind for Poppy's upcoming VU

It was stated that all yordles are furry, but males more so while females have a very fine, very thin, layer of fur that is nearly indiscernible. Think of them in terms of peacocks and peahens; males are more flashy and flamboyant while females are not.

To be fair, the female yordles were supposed to have short fur... like Corki or the old Heimerdinger.

Because the blue is not the skin, is the facial hair.

Cause Yordle.

Because back then Tristan and Poppy were part of a different race, the meglings, that got merged with the yordles because they were too similar.

Tristana was specifically (re-)designed to be more 'feral' looking, to emphasize her being a commando.
