When you begin to read the lore's of each champion it makes your mind wander. I think the creators of league and its champions wanted this mystical feel. But shouldn't it be the time to fill in these gaps. The bligewater extravaganza was very potent and detailed. It's time

Creating a King of the XerSai just for symmetry is a bad idea.

Garen and Katarina are not a couple.

The League doesn't exist anymore.

Probably too much effort for little payoff, and may carry awful gameplay cases.

While a neat idea in the surface, releasing Senna would require a decent amount of setup.

Gnar is probably th e closest we are going to get. Babies are not very interesting for something like LoL.

Brand and Malphite are very old champions. Nowadays Riot makes champions a little more elaborated than simple Elemental Incarnations. Even more, Yasuo and Nami kind of occupy those niches already.

Probably a terrible idea by itself, plus the League no longer exist.

Garen and Kat had pretty high respect for eachother, enough to dissuade both of their troops' from a needless fight and to cooperate in Demacia with Jarvan and Talon to solve the Kalamanda incident in the later JoJ.

Garen also used to call her "beautiful" or something in the quote at the bottom of her Lore before it was rewritten in...Season 3 IIRC, but that's about as romantic as it got outside of Blitzcrank thinking they'd go well together.

Which is enough to make it canon, basically, because RammusxCactus is the most important thing in League.

The negativity is real. Are you afraid of change, or progress? I hope not.

I never said Garen and Katarina were a couple nor did the lore. The lore said those two often disappeared from the battlefield. That produces endless possibilities.

How can league be gone? If champions are still being made? Still are being called? When "league of legends" still exist.

Gnar is not a baby...He's ancient... For all we know he could Teemo's GREAT GREAT X10 Grandpa.

Those simple incarnations still get the job done. And Yasuo is a swordsman, & Nami is a mermaid. League is not made for niches...either they are or are not.

Not negativity but rather honest feedback. I am not afraid of change; I crave good change, and I am wary of poorly thought changes.

Acknowledging "Endless possibilities" is something very different than constructing a whole headcannon and asking for deliverance.

The League was retconned from Runeterra a little over a year ago. You may search the Dev Log "Exploring Runeterra".

Gnar is both a child and ancient.

It has been mentioned and shown that Riot no longer automatically goes to the lowest-hanging fruit when designing a champion. Yasuo (as well as Janna, whom I forgot) wields Air powers, while Nami does the same with water.

If you make the effort of pitching your ideas in this board, you probably should at least try to listen to feedback. The vast majority of the people that post in here are about as interested as you are in seeing LoL's lore flourish.

The Institute of war (which was called the League of Legends) is no longer canon. That's what a lot of people are arguing. Yes the game is still called League of Legends, no we don't know why lorewise.

because the league doesnt exsit anymore you have to look at exsiting lore for new champ ftmp, like Aatrox was hinted in trnds lol for the longest time , and before the burning bridges the red bandanna man was a mystery Gangplank . lets see there is C from caitlyn's lore, Kassadin 's dauther, Irelia 's brother. Udyr 's dragon (wink wink), the ruined king, i think the void could used a definitive boss monster, Nami 's target. but i think purodinum summed the issues with you concepts quite nicely

She is from the void...she's not your typical insect. Meaning she could easily have an husband.
Garen and Katarina don't have a child. That's why I pitched it as a champion concept.
Lee Sin..technically? No, he had potential, fell, and never succeeded at becoming a summoner.
Who said Thresh released her? What if someone else saved her? As in the game souls are everywhere on the ground. And an easy skin concept for Thresh would "Shattered Lantern Thresh".

Going by that logic the Xer'Sai might not even have males, and instead reproduce asexually.
Well we'd need many, many years to go by before a child of Katarina and Garen was even able to lift a weapon, let alone get in an actual fight. This principle also extends to magic.
Until we know what Riot's doing with summoner's in the IoW-less Runeterra we can't say anything about making Summoner champions. Plus Lee Sin was a Summoner, he just sucked and got people killed, at least in the old lore. He probably wasn't a summoner in the new lore.
Or she could become a Shadow Isles undead and be bound in service of the mighty Mordekaiser. Just sayin' that's a possibility.
Gnar is four in Yordle years biologically, thus he is still pretty much a baby. He couldn't have had children at the yordle age of four so him being ANYBODY'S ancestor directly isn't all that likely.
Well on the wind and water side of things we have Janna and Yasuo for wind and Nami for water. Sure they're not elementals but they're elemental mages and kind of hold the niche of having said elemental power for their given roles.
The IoW doesn't exist anymore so nobody can infiltrate it anyway.
I would've imagined if Azir knew about Amumu it'd be through legend and folktales. Amumu would've been ancient long before Azir's reign in ancient Shurima.

1.Well Xer'sai don't necessarily have a king(like many insect species) and if they had one,then he'd be rather similar to rek'sai(unless there is some bizarre sexual dimorphism going on)

2.Even if the 2 became a couple,their child would need several years to be champion material,which would seriously mess with the timeline,as the other champions aren't gonna age just for that

3.&8.Well like others here said League doesn't exist anymore,it was retconned

4.You mean like 2 champs who would synergize well with each other?While the idea is good,they would need to watch these 2 not synergizing too well,after all it would suck if they were op together,but would up if they were played alone.

5.Well Thresh wants to break the spirit of those who he trapped,possibly to make them obey the shadow isles,so I guess this wouldn't be out of question.

Janna is pretty much THE wind champ of the game,her whole kit is about wind,so I doubt that they'll introduce an actual wind elemental as a champ(she even has a wind elemental as her pet).I agree that we need a water elemental,I mean nami uses water magic,but she isn't centered around her element,like brand,malphite and janna.

9.Amumu is probably older than Azir,so it is possible that he had heard about the things that happened to amumu.

What is wrong with champions becoming older? It would produce much more content.
Whose to say they won't change it back? or bring it back to its original state?
Personally, thank you on the point of "The Twins". Yes, it would have to be closely monitored to effectively work.

I think there is a difference between "being one with the air" & "being air". I think Janna has a unusual high connection with the air element. But, by no means is best thing created to use air as a weapon. Lets not forget she's a human/elf. She's not a purely mystical being.

Do you really want to see a 90 year old ashe shooting frost arrows at people? No. No you don't. Just take a second to think about how silly you're being, and why these champions not aging is just... easier to go with, in terms of gameplay.

So, forever young champions...that sounds more silly, then champions aging. Eventually, people must die in real life as well as in game life. That doesn't mean you cant play the champions anymore, just means the story continues. So, yes seeing a 75 year old Garen running top speed would be awesome. Ash at 90, she would have had children and passed on her crown. In terms of gameplay older champions are not farfetched nor silly. It gives the game a veteran feel, it portrays the years and work put into the game as well.

Honestly? Were playing a game where champions are constantly dying and being resurrected in less than 2 minute increments. Tell me when do they really have time to age if they are returned to their former glory every two minutes?

elder scrolls online is the 1st mmo after wow to get millions of active players every day + its on consoles and its also an elder scroll series so it will always be famous

and almost every league champion has more than 2 people who are from their close circles its impossible to make all of them into champions

You have obviously never looked at games outside the US for "millions" of daily subscribers... but then that's what one would expect form a console gamer.

im not a console gamer i just said that ESO is on consoles too so it has millions of players from both pc and consoles + its the first mmo after WoW which can keep you bussy forever simply because its an elder scrolls, dont even mention the garbage korean f2p grindfests these arent mmos and people play them for 1 day and quit + their companies always abandon them after some time

First off I am not discounting ESO as a highly playable MMO. However it is not the "1st mmo after wow to get millions of active players every day". Many have done that even before WOW.

Secondly ESO is not the "first mmo after WoW which can keep you bussy forever" there are many before it yet after WoW.

Thirdly you did not make any distinction about subscription so your F2P don't count statement is in itself garbage.

Finally "any game" that can have over 100K players hosted on an online server at the same time is actually a Massive Multiplayer Online game. (Yes that even means Diablo III is an MMO. there is no distinction in the name requiring everyone to see everyone at the same time.)

Many people played ESO for 1 day and quit.

Many people played alot of MMO's 1 day and quit, its the nature of the business.

As for the elder scrolls series...

I too loved them but ESO was a bit of a let down after some time of play. (But that's just my personal opinion as many people still find it entertaining just like second life.)

One after another Do Queen Ants have kings? Do Queen Bees have kings? (I am not sure if this is the right way to say, all hail Google Translator) No. The void champion-line is mostly resembling insects who don't "require" kings. They propagate with drones.

This is actually a good idea, though they don't need to be relatives. But you can't make a champion who is 100% only usable if his counterpart is present. That would be either broken or useless.

Ao Shin? :P Though, Malph is not an elemental in the right way, since he is litteraly a shard of a monolith. Read his lore.

Most of the things I say are lore-related. There is no problem having an Alpha-Xer'Sai, or something in that way, but I just can't imagine Rek'Sai having a "king" in the common way

Okay lets begin. She's not an ant or bee. She is the queen of the void...meaning in the void different rules than our earthly rules and limitations. And even those insect and bug queens, have a royal guard if not a king.

I didn't say the twins could only be used if they are both present. I said twin champions they are made to boost or aid one another specifically. They would still be functional without one another just weaker. And the idea behind the two is to help real people coordinate better.

How can league be gone? If champions are still being made? Still are being called? When "league of legends" still exist.

The point of the champion is he/she wants to destroy league. No one said they would actually do so.

And being complacent, and content with the game as it is...So your telling me your find with 1+, 2+, 3+, 4+, 5+ years with these same champions. NO! You would quit the game. If the story doesn't progress you asking for the game to fail. You might "like it" now. But it would be a whole lot better; if one day you could say you "I love this game"

She is not the queen of the void. Rek'Sai is the queen of a voidling-race in the Shurima-Desert. These creatures, even if they are not real animals, still do have a lot in common with insects. Most insects don't have a king, and all that aside, a king wouldn't fit Rek'Sai at all. Since all Rek'Sai is, is to be the strongest of her kind. The average Xer'Sai is way smaller than her, practivally yordle-sized. She is special. If you would create another Xer'Sai, just as special as her, what would she be?

Lee Sin comment completely emotionless written. Just as there is since the Lore-Retcon no Institute of War anymore, there are no summoners. They got banned from further lore. They just don't exist anymore, and soon they wouldn't even ever have existed in Runeterra.

If a champion has buffs, which only occur if other champions come in, it is called a hidden passive. Sion gets 1 more gold from killing Zyra vice-versa. Leona deals 1 less damage to enemies with sunglasses with her passive. If Caitlyn or Vi have Jinx in the enemy team they get a kill-counter. After 30 minutes ingame, when both reached level 16, Rengar and Kha'Zix will start the hunt, if they are in opposing teams. Thats what I mean. If your Champion has significant buffs with his sibling, he would close to only be played while the other is in team. To balance this, he would either be weaker than other champions alone, and as strong as they are with his sibling. Or he would be as strong as every other champion, but stronger with his sibling. This is, after all, game breaking. In first case, he would force other players to play his counterpart, or be flamed cause he is not as strong alone. In second case, he would be stronger than other champions, making it unfair. BUT if your champion only synergizes good with his bro, that would be ok, but we already have that. Kalista/Lucian - Thresh, Zilean (with new passive) and Mordekaiser can pull some crazy sht, but if you would have to rely on the other champion for certain parts of your own, that would be simply bad. The best example for this is Kalista: If your Soul Mate is AFK, you can't use your Ult and you can't proc your W.

As I said before about Lee Sin: A while ago Riot Games decided to delete the Institute of War (the League of Legends) from the Lore. Though, some lores still mention it, it won't come back and won't be mentioned anymore. In future lores the League simply never existed. -> So, how destroy something that never existed in the first place?

I play League of Legends since 2011 and yes, I am still playing it, and yes, I like the lore and yes, "I love this game". I didn't quit the game. Without those mysteries, what would it be? I don't want to know everything. Why is Amumu cursed? Why does Rammus exist? Where does Jax come from? Why is nobody allowed to touch TF's hat?!?! These are things we either find out in Events, like maybe Harrowing, or such as the Burning Tides, where was plenty of lore about TF, Graves, Gankplank and MF.

So even though you like progress...you rather chop down ideas, theories, & concepts. Because i never said you quit the game. You said you "liked the game" now you rephrased it to "love". With that being said...I never said "Riot Games" release all your secrets. But sense you have been playing this game for 4 years almost. You don't think some things need to answered. You posted plenty of questions towards the end...just an observation.

To your point on the siblings..the champion itself would be made as far as gameplay concerned. "The Twins" would be made to improve coordination between two people. Now i've seen people complain about every champion in this game. With that being said EVERY CHAMPION HAS ITS FLAWS...EVERY CHAMPION can be countered. So your telling me because two champions that would benefit off of one another is bad?? Because you feel they would be too strong together or too weak apart. THAT MAKES sense! They are twins...

On Rek'sai you sated "Strongest of her kind" applying it to the those in the Shurima Desert. Meaning there could easily be a King bigger, stronger, & better. Obliviously, it would be a different kind.

You say you "love this game" Then where is your sense of urgency for a different method of reaching fans. League would be nothing without its fan and players. So when you say your still "playing" thats all your doing "playing". Not breaking grounds, helping the progress, evolving the stature of the game as of now.

Every champion can be countered, of course. And every champion synergizes with others. The question is: Do the Twins just synergize good with each other, or do they rely on each other to be good. Again Kalista: you can choose your Soul Mate at the beginning of the match. You don't need to have a Thresh as support or some specific champion. You can use your full strength with every champion. Thresh still is a good pick with Kalista. So: are they just good with one another (Synergy: they can have the same strengths with other champions aswell) or do they rely on one another (black spear variant: they need each other for the buff they get when they are in the same team) It does make sense, but sense isn't the thing I am talking about. Just because Ekko actually can wind back time, he can't do it ingame as he can do in his trailer (Both "Seconds" and the comic). This is a balancing issue.

If the king is bigger, stronger and better, why would Rek'Sai still be special? If it is another kind, how can that king still be a Xer'Sai, they are Rek'Sais kind after all.

The thing you want is answers. Answers on questions like "Why is Amumu cursed?". You don't understand that these questions are appealing. They are stuff of imaginations. They are a way to reach the fans. When I say I am still playing, I mean I didn't let this game rot like I do it with Minecraft. Because I like the story. I like the world. And I like Piltover. This game has a story, developing all the year. Maybe just by adding new Champions, maybe by events like the Burning Tides. These events define the story and Runeterra always. When Azir came out, we learned lots about Shurima. When Bard came out, we learned that there is more than just the void, the land and the ocean where champs could come from and when the Burning Tides event came, we learned a lot about Bilgewater. Maybe this isn't the information you're looking for, but it shows us so much about the world and the game. Since the lore retcon and the reassambling of the continent Valoran, lore-wise, Riot tries to give every place an identity. Of course they are not done yet, they didn't visited half of the places of the continent yet, but they will do. That's why I am fine with the way they are going: the story's end, isn't in sight

Alright Alright....

So considering to Ekko being able to wind back time...He does wind back time. Only for himself and no one else allowing the healing to himself and damage to his enemies to occur. The twins would have synergy with certain champs the same as other champs. However, the twins would bring a whole new entire outlook. So they would rely on one another to be strong. To me that balances the champion out, if they are strong without their twin. They would then be too strong with their twin; causing nerf to applied immediately. Now this concept would be the first of its kind. Due to every champ in League so far is self sufficient.

As far as an Xer'Sai more powerful than Rek'sai. That particular Xer'sai would have to be from somewhere else than the void. Like you said Bard showed us there are other places throughout the cosmic unknown to man.

Now I hope your not comparing League of Legends to Minecraft. Well I know you are not. But your missing my point, I don't just want answers. I want progress, now considering there is a World Championship going on we're not going to see much now. However, there should be a weekly, monthly, some type of information being placed in-front of us. Besides a new update the nerf your favorite champion.

Ruining the lore of two particular champions? Your doing the same thing I'm doing by asking the question "What happen to Kat and Cass's father?" What you think champions don't get older? They won't have children? They won't die? We are talking lore's here right? A story...eventually characters must do something. But, yet i'm ruining the lore...okay. Well, why your here..."What happened to Kat and Cass's father?"

My point was not against champions having kids or growing old. My point was that Kat and Garen have NO intimate attraction at all. It was a respect one gains for an adversary based on their abilities and effectiveness on the battlefield not lust. Garen is to much a loyalist and a professional to even consider Kat as a love interest. and Kat? Her passion lies in the art of killing, everything else is just fodder. For some champs a child would not be a far pressed idea but honestly these two are about the farthest from it. Hell Kat and Draven have a better chance of hooking up than Kat and Garen.

You came to the story board correct? Correct...So this thread was about the further continuation of the story. Read Garen's and Katarina's lore then come back. In our human history, especially in Japanese cultural love was found on the battlefield. So, you my friend can lead your un-idealist mind away from this dead thread

I am all for a continuation of the story but pushing a romantic involvement for these two is a simplistic writers mistake. Just poor writing period. There could be so much more to "their story" (if you wish to put it that way) from an adversarial perspective than a romantic one. Yes there are hundreds of examples "in Japanese lore" about adversaries falling in love and I get that, but honestly why flip an already good story base on its head just to pander to those who's highest reading comprehension and enjoyment comes in the form of a cheap romance novel. There are so many other champs this could be used with and still have a good flow to the story line. Kat and Garen... so much more could be done with that to actually develop the characters. Why waste whats already there by rewriting it so they play bit parts, just to produce a child, especially when it goes so strongly against what they are.
