Question about a scenario with Kindred and Kalista

Lets just say there is a man called Jack, and one day Kindred finds Jack and asks him ,, would you want to be shot by my arrow or would you want to be chased by the wolf" Jack answered the arrow.in the same time another guy called Michael gives his soul to kalista so he could have revenge on jack because Jack has ruined his life by accident because he said that Michael cheated on a exam as a joke (they were college buddies) which made the college kick him out and he would live on the streets. Now how would this scenario work exactly???? Kindred comes because they knew he would die so they ask him, but in the same time a dude gives his soul to kalista for revenge.Who will be right here? because if the Lamb will just kill Jack with her arrow would that mean that Michael just wasted his soul? this confuses me...

Yeah Michael pretty much wasted his soul in that case. Kalista might be powerful, but in the end she is just a ghost(or to be more precise a collection of ghosts),meanwhile kindred is more like a force or rule of nature.

If Micheal gives his soul to Kalista, then jack would likely be dead already before Kalista could arrive to kill him.

It could be possible that kalista would deny micheal the deal, knowing that there is no point for micheal to pay his soul.

However keep in mind that kindred kills indirectly, they are death, but not the cause of death,so for jack to accept lambs arrow could pretty much be equal to him accepting that kalsita will kill him(lambs arrow would then kill him after he gets skewered by kalista).

Also Kalista only hunts betrayers,so I dunno if jack accidently getting micheal kicked out of college would really count as a betrayal, since it was an accident.

I may have misunderstood your confusion, but anyways, if that answers your question- Kindred is omnipresence, as far as it seems; Lamb and Wolf can be at multiple places at once (always together of course).
