Zombie Slayer Release Login

I'm wondering what the inspiration for the artwork and the music is for login screen. I have to say, I really enjoyed the song, enough to just sit there and listen to it all the way through before starting play one day. But I have to wonder, what was the inspiration? And maybe this even extends into the inspiration for Slayer Jinx and Pantheon? Any sort of lead or explanation to either parts would be fantastic.
