Suggestion about home screen to get more people into playing ranked.

I'm not too sure about anyone else but I feel a certain pressure when queuing to play ranked. Maybe it's because I have to depend on 4 other people.. maybe it's because i'm too insecure to see where I actually rank. I don't know.

Point is, I got an idea today that I thought would help me become more excited to play in ranked mode. And that idea begins at the LOL Home page when you log in.

The idea is that if you got silver at the end of the year you get a silver boarder around your main home page client. Gold - you get gold border and so on and so fourth. This way it's a constant reminder of where you stand and can become something in your face constantly reminding you that you can always go higher the more you play (meaning practice) and the better you play.

You could have the option to turn it off, but I thought to myself, having that silver boarder on my main page would get me enough courage to go ahead and say "you know what, I want that gold border - i'm going for it." And having it be an option that you can enable or disable means it could only be beneficial to those people like myself who are a bit timid about playing ranked.

Any thoughts on the matter? Please no trolls. Just trying to make a game I like to play a bit more enjoyable and feel a bit more rewarding.
