It's obvious both maps have good stuff going for them, but which map is generally the better map? Some argue the new map looks like play dough, and some argue that the old map looks like a pit of weirdly placed off-color pixels. Just curious to see what the League Community thinks after it being out for a while...
Personal preference for the old style, since the new LOL style in general seems to be very plain and streamlined (Remember when Akali got her updated texture? She looked like an action figure!) I preferred that strange fantasy mishmash in the older style of LOL, which was best seen in Dominion with how all the houses had their silly pointy spires :P
I actually like the new one!

um... the new summoners rift map was in season 4
The new map has a lot of good things to it, but it looks way too artificial. The old map looked a lot more natural and I'm just not a fan of playing on AstroTurf.
Artistically? The old one. More updated? The new one.
I wish you could choose between each just like I wish you could switch between howling abyss and butchers bridge.

I played before they added the new one so I know what the old looks like, and tbh I like the new one better
