Are we overestimating Aurelion Sol's power?

So the boards have gone wild after the teaser for the upcoming "Star Forger". Where it depicts this cosmic dragon creating and destroying a miniature star. The question is, are we all overestimating Aurelion Sol because he claims he can create and destroy stars? Are we certain he can even make a full fledged sun?

For contrast Syndra can create small black holes using her power over gravity. However, we don't all exclaim that she is the most powerful being in Runeterra. Why is Aurelion being treated differently?

What do you guys think? Is Aurelion the real deal, or is he just a boisterous version of Syndra or Xerath?

Yes we are. Because of 3 reasons

  1. He doesn't claim it-he DOES IT

  2. He's the size of a planet and he did it with a swipe of his claw

and the most important one

  1. his title is STAR FORGER-MEANING HE FORGES STARS, aka CREATES STARS, aka CREATES SUNS

Also I'd like to point out: a star IS a full fledged sun.

Well, I mean.. Soraka can fucking call a star down to crash into the enemy. (Or is it a comet now) Either or thats in a league above syndra.

Bard can summon an interdimensional rift that allows him and others to virtually travel anywhere.

Syndra can create black orbs, not black holes.

Though it is possible that the star in the trailer was rather small and not a real star.

Honestly, Im uncertain. My theory is something is going to happen between Aurelion and the other aspects during this little Targon Lore Event and he will have to shrink down to proper size and power.

Seeing his cinematic I kinda had a flashback to Skyrim where the stars aren't really big, but rather miniature sized suns. We have champions that create Black Holes, Antimatter, Walk through multiple dimensions or stop death, and since Leona is the aspect of the sun I doubt he has power over it and only is able to shape other stars. So I kinda have to aggree with OP when he says that we are overestimating him.

Syndra doesn't create black holes, just dark spheres (Black holes would suck everything around them), she is limited also by her mortal body that if not destroyed by her own increasing power will eventually age and die.

Aurelion Sol strenght is full speculation, we know that he is a cosmic being and that the mini-star he created was made with minimal effort.

I think its mainly the scope of the image we got. He was the night sky and blended in. Therefore it at least appears that he is that strong

He created a star then crushed it in his hand....

What if stars are just small things that float around?
