So is Morde a shadow isles champ or noxus?

The new senna special interactions have lines directed towards shadow isles champs but it is activated in the presence of mordekaiser so i'm confused

After his VGU, Mordekaiser no longer has ties to the Shadow Isles. If you have a moment, you can check out his new bio here!

I've updated his VO tags so Shadow Isles lines will no longer play for him, as a bug fix for Senna (thanks, Skin Spotlights [slayer-jinx-catface] ).

As for Noxus, his empire was there before Noxus. So a lot of lines about modern Noxus/Noxians wouldn't really make sense for him. To make it easier to write Noxus lines in the future, he'll have to go without that tag for VO, though I will note he _ is_ labeled as a Noxian champ on Universe.

Hope that all makes sense! Sorry we keep accidentally shipping old canon. Correcting VO tags is on our pre-launch checklist moving forward.

Morde is in both noxus and the shadow isles... which is confusing. He did die in noxus and is contained under the immortal bastion, but is in a realm that is linked to the shadow isles. I have the feeling the shadow isles is the "leakage" of essence from the death realm, which is why everything there is very similar to the background of Morde's ult.

Mordekaiser was Noxus before noxus was noxus. His remains were locked in the blessed isle, while he built his own empire with blackjack and hookers. Now he is back ruling over the undead.

Morde is fundamentally the founder that Galvanized Noxus and the big Spoopy boi from the shadow isles.

Just read his new lore, very lack luster compared to the old lore. I guess once they nerfed him into the ground before rework, they had to made his background story the same to match him.

Mordekaiser is no longer related to the shadow isles since the rework so this is most likely a bug if it is activated by mordekaiser Mordekaisers new lore has it so that he has never been on the shadow isles from what we know
