They said they wanted to make a map but Riot has set big goals for themselves. They never said when it would be released.

There is lore coming out. Urgot's bio and short story for example. Kayn's bio and short story. They both give more insight into some countries. Lore events like Demacia don't get to happen every month because they take a lot of work.
