Its seems to me that the old legendary skins are left behind while the new ones are getting cool animation and taunts. For instance, Dunkmaster Darius has his all new dances and qoutes (69 taunts!!!) while brolaf doesnt even has a new dance. So, i hope that riot will update the older legendary skins for the ones of us who realy likes them. Tell me what do you think.
It has been commented that there are no plans for standalone updates for older Legendary or Ultimate skins.
Such skins are updated during VUs for their champions, and on those reworked so far there had been no intention to bring them up to actual standards of execution.
The Magnificent Twisted Fate, Annie in Wonderland, Alien Invader Heimerdinger received no more than model updates, ending no worse than before but not better.
Firefighter Tristana received significantly better water particles, but otherwise went unchanged.
The skins you mentioned are a lot closer to modern quality, but I don't think they have the intention of bringing them to Dunkmaster Darius' level of awesomeness when they are updated.
