I really wish the Riot GUI would be more accessible

I've been doing graphic design for a two, three years now, and spent most of the time working within League of Legends as the theme. Often I find myself trying to find the vanilla files for the clients GUI - its dark blue theme, which gives a strong resonance to League of Legends as a whole, thereby drawing the correlation between the design and the game in question.

I've looked everywhere. Riot's official asset kit, digging in the League folder, basic websearching, etc. - I even emailed Riot's media team and sent a support ticket. But between all of that I've come up short. Now I'm somewhat stuck since I can't get my hands on it, in order to really elevate the design. If copyrighting is the issue for its poor accessibility, I have nothing but respect for the original artist and would love to accredit them if necessary. I wanna hear if there is a way to aquire the clients general GUI design vanilla files, and the characteristic League of Legends metallic edge. I would be willing to pay for it, should it come to that.

Well that stuff is proprietary. They wouldn't want to give anyone, not just you, those assets and then they end up being used by another person to turn a profit. It's not about you, per say, but the people who want to steal the content.

Another thing, why not just look at the client/images itself? If you create the assets yourself from scratch there is no fear of you stealing the files. Also, the artist usually has no claim to the content once it's created for Riot so even if they wanted to they would have to go the Riot Games itself first.

Personally, I think if you just created it from scratch it would be a lot cooler.
