Akali skin minor detail change request

I just bought the Sashimi Akali skin today. Thanks for making such a nice skin, one of the little gems I didn't even know existed!

Really loving the skin.

My request is can we change the passive ring, empowered karma and E kunai markings from the default green to a flame orange color for Sashimi Akali skin?

You can see the passive ring is the default green.

Compare this to Silver Fang Akali:

The Silver Fang Akali gets a blue ring, blue kunai and blue empowered karma tint, the KDA Akali gets a purple tint, I thought it'd be more appropriate if Sashimi Akali follow that trend and have orange.

Likewise for Stinger Akali skin, she currently has a yellow tint for her empowered karma but the passive ring is still green and the E marking is also green, it would be nicer if it was yellow to match her skin and empowered karma.

One extra request: could you guys make the spinning pincer on Sashimi Akali come on fire like Gang Plank's flaming sword? That would add a really nice touch to the whole sushi chef theme, a cooking crab pincer.

These two changes will make it even more compelling for future players to buy the Sashimi Akali skin.

What do you say Riot, easy change?

Silverfang is a 975 and K/DA is a 1350 so those are supposed to have effects changes. 750s are just a new model / outfit change. They rarely give them effects changes unless it was deemed needed during creation or vgu update. Since neither happened here, it's unlikely to ever change.

And stinger is a 520, those got even less stuff.

Well maybe time for an upgrade then - better looking skin possibly lead to better sales?

Unfortunately they won't. They made the skins based on their (rather awful) guidelines and stick with that for the most part. https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752874-Guide-to-Skin-Price-Tiers

There are a few instances before Akalis vgu where they had upgraded some but since then they felt it made their pricing tiers feel wrong so going forward they kept to them.

There are plenty of skins that I feel could use all kinds of things that would make them so much more, but it is the way Riot unfortunately does stuff and doesn't seem to change.

Very unlikely. Riot doesn't like to make big changes while it's on PBE. Once it ships it's basically not going to happen.

Changing the color of the passive ring from green to orange isn't a big change, takes less than an hour on their end to change it (from my own software development experience). As for the flaming pincer, they can leave that change out if they want, it's only to look cool.

And hey when KDA Akali skin first came out it didn't use to have the neon glow effect while in shroud form but players requested it, Riot thought that looks cool so they added it in:

Your right. It isn't that hard and they have made post release changes. But it's very rare and usually only done for skins they know the effort is worth. And it is even more unlikely for them to change a skin long after many people have bought it the way it is.

Now it might take them more than an hour because they have to communicate it among more people and put it in the game, but you are not wrong.
